Who does what in your house?

How do you and DH handle cooking/cleaning, etc.?
Do you each have a set list of things that each person takes care of?
Its very romantic to think that couples just magically get everything done together, but when both people work full time, its not very realistic.
I usually do the cooking, and DH does most of the cleaning. I take care of the accounting, food shopping, etc.
I'm just curious how other people work together to get everything done without conflict.

DH is a clean freak, so he just redos everything I had already done, so I've given up trying.

We have a balance, though.

I cook, he cleans up.

I do the laundry, we both fold it.

I clean the kitchen and keep everything organized, he does the vacuuming and scrubbing of the bathrooms.

Me:

Dusting
Cards/presents
RSVPs

He does:
Cleans Kitchen
Vacuuming

Both:
Bills (still have separate checking accts)
Cooking (he cooks more than me)
Food shopping

We are pretty balanced I think.

DH - dishes, cooks, fixes things, help with laundry, food shopping.
Me: cooks, laundry, vacuum, clean, food shopping.

We are happy with the way things are and one doesn't feel like the other does more then the other one.

We have it balanced out & has worked for us. Both of us work full time also!

cleans the main bathroom
does dishes
fixes items that need to be fixed
takes care of the cars
some cooking (bbq or eggs)

We share a lot of things, nothing really is set as his or mine but this is how it usually breaks down:

We go grocery shopping together (unless we're busy with other things, then I go on my own)
He does laundry, sometimes he folds and sometimes I do
We both do our share of cleaning the house, tho the bathroom is usually mine
He takes care of 'house maintenance' (fixin' stuff)
I handle the finances
I do the dishes
He's been taking care of the yard
We share cooking, it used to be all him but I've started spreading my wings in the kitchen

I think we've got a pretty good thing going!! I feel like I'm doing my fair share and at the same time being taken care of!!

I HATE cooking so I made a deal with DH.

DH:
cooks
goes food shopping

ME:
does dishes
clean the house
pay the bills
laundry

I'm 07-crasher, but OMG I think we're with the same man.
FH is a super-neat and definitely has gone over things I've done. Vacumming is definitely his job.

DH: vacuum, garbage, clean up after cooking, laundry, clean bathrooms if I don't have time, grocery shop with me sometimes

Me: cook, clean, laundry, grocery shop, bills

We are pretty balanced. DH does cleaning especially if he knows I won't have time to get to it.

DH - leave socks all over the apt, wet towels on the floor, food in all sorts of places, shaving cream residue all over bathroom mirror, toilet seat down, etc....oh and pay the bills and shred lots of papers

Me - cook & clean
