It was so depressing this morning...i get to the LIRR which theres usually alot of ppl and there were so few people...and half the people there had suitcases so they obviously were just traveling, and then others didn't look like they were going to work. I think there were honestly maybe 4-5 of us actually going to work...same thing on the MTA the trains were SO empty. Only good thing is that i found parking by the LIRR right away.
Makes it worst that everybody i know is off today.

i'm at work too. the LIRR was deserted! i felt like i made a mistake, like it was really sunday, and that's why no one was on the train. the office is deserted too. i just better get out early!

i am work to. i was suppose to be off but I switched with my coworker for new years eve instead. i am pretty sure we will leave early today

wasn't it depressing...like getting to a train station early in the morning just makes you think 'OMG am i the only one working'
we get out at 2pm but i take turns with 2 other girls to stay late on half days, well instead of 2pm we get out between 3-3:30 and its my turn now, and the worst part is that i have to buy 3 gifts after work and go with fh and his family to church at 6pm, i don't know how i am even going to do this

Im off- but I work at a staffing agency, so there was not going to be any people interviewng for jobs right now. FH is at work though and he wasn't too thrilled because everyone else in his family has off!

i sure freaking hope so.
my dad and i work together in our own office--just him and i. so hopefully he'll just have me wrap my mom's christmas gifts he bought last night and say 'okay go home and hook up dinner' i'd much rather do that than be here in this cold office.
DH is working too. no holidays for cops!
