It was so depressing this morning...i get to the LIRR which theres usually alot of ppl and there were so few people...and half the people there had suitcases so they obviously were just traveling, and then others didn't look like they were going to work. I think there were honestly maybe 4-5 of us actually going to work...same thing on the MTA the trains were SO empty. Only good thing is that i found parking by the LIRR right away.
Makes it worst that everybody i know is off today.

i sure freaking hope so.
my dad and i work together in our own office--just him and i. so hopefully he'll just have me wrap my mom's christmas gifts he bought last night and say 'okay go home and hook up dinner' i'd much rather do that than be here in this cold office.
DH is working too. no holidays for cops!
oh im sure your dad will let you go home, right? otherwise go on strike today

thank you...i am more worried about making it on time to meet fh and his family...although its my turn to stay a little later, most likely i can get out at 2:30...oh stupid thing is i dont know why i drove to the LIRR and put fh's gift in the trunk, uhmmm i am supposed to go straight to his house after work and now i have to take the LIRR home and then drive to his house what was i thinking, well i wasn't thinking

i was actually gonna ask you before, that you're probably used to it bc you were in retail...but yeah its great and a big difference to get out at 3 instead of 7
