Who else is unemployed??

What do you ladies do all day?? (besides looking for jobs and going on interviews)

I find myself cleaning, rearranging the closets, packing, sending things down to FL, I changed the bedroom around 3 times, I have taken up yoga, trying new cooking recipes, baking, doing laundry, going to the bank, food shopping and odds and ends of stuff. And yet I still manage to lose weight which I am very proud of.

What do you ladies do during the day??

hey Chip, I'm not a part of that club anymore...

But for the 8 months I was unemployed, I read a lot, did some traveling, did volunteer work, took a pottery class, took on more of the household chores (which I've now given back ) and sat on the computer a lot!

ooh a pottery class that sounds fun. hmm that may be something I might look into.

Great more stuff to put up in the apartment Brian will have a fit. LOL

Wow, I guess I am now. Haven't really thought about it that way till now. Although I teach a few lesons during the week, but not enough to call myself employed. Basically, I send out resumes, go on this website and clean. Very exciting lifestyle, so no one be jealous, ok?

I do all the shopping but little cooking. FI works nights and I hate to cook big meals for myself so I do little cooking when he works.

I am always in the supermarket, they all know me by now

While I am out of work,I do all the cooking and cleaning up after dinner.I also do all the shopping and laundry. We both vaccuum and take care of the other cleaning. I try to do most things during the week so that we have more time for each other.

I hate doing laundry. We used to always drop it off but now I do it. takes me 2 hours to do laundry. I do an aweful lot of reading when I am in the laundromat.

See, my problem is that my apartment always reflects my mood. If I'm having a very good week and am in good spirits, my apartment is spotless, and that is most of the time. On the other hand, if I am having a bad week or I am feeling down, my apartment is a mess, and if FH tries to clean, I tell him not to. I just need my surroundings to match my mood. I'm just weird. My mother used to know to call my therapist when I was in high school if I didn't clean my room for a week or so. Usually I am a neat freak! Well, that and a weirdo

Sometimes I get on cleaning binges and I can't stop. For some reason it usually happens on Sunday. I don't know why.Guess I'm weird too.

everything is in its place and a place for everything here. I vacuum everyday and dust like a mad woman. I yell at FI if he even touches or moves something. I cant stand clutter.

Sue I do the same thing. I go on huge cleaning binges. The other day I took down all the valences, the blinds, everything, scrubbed it all and then put everything back. I was cleaning lady on speed

Chip - don't remember which I mentioned to you, but it was something different. This is a full time job. I think you were in FL the week I got it.
