Who ever watches desperate Housewives

Please fill me in. I keep forgetting to watch & I've only seen the end of every episode. I'm clueless. Someone please give me the scoop. Espically w/ Mary Alice.

Mary Alice committed suicide at the opening of the first show and is now the narrarator. Her husband is hiding some sort of secret. Mary Alice received a note before she killed herself saying 'I know what you did'. Her husband dumped human remains in a lake.

The new guy on the block is shady, not sure who he is working for.
