Who gets invited...

To the bridal shower?

To the bachelorette party?


I'm just wondering if you invite all the females from the invite list or only close friends/family?

Bridal shower:
Most of the women in your family and DH family. Including grandma, aunts and great-aunts.
Any close friends you are inviting to the wedding.

Bachelorette party:
your bridal party and women of a similar age as you. Grandma's usually dont come, unless they like loud music and young men, in which case, go grandma!!
At mine it was pretty much friends and the fun girls from work (who also came to the wedding). Relatives were invited but most lived too far away to attend.

What about cousins? I don't have any girl cousins my age, but the FH does. They don't live here and I'm not really close to them.

my shower was in Ohio (where FH is from). so no one from my side was even there, except for my mom.

but under normal circumstances, your close family and friend's should be invited, not every woman on the guest list.
