Get this...I am having 3 MatronOH. My cousin, bf since childhood and bf from college. I couldn't choose between the 3 of them bc they each represent an important stage in my life. I wanted to give all three of them each a special role bc I wouldn't be who I am without them.

I also have 5 other BMs.

My sister is my Matron and my best friend is my Maid. I think my sister was a little hurt (and she still may be)...but it wasn't meant to slight anyone. My best friend is like a sister to me and it just didn't feel right not 'honoring' her.

My FH is having his 2 brother's as his Best Men.

We plan on having (so long as the church doesn't have a problem with this) all 4 stand up with us. My Matron and Maid will be walking down the aisle by themselves...and walking back up - they will each be paired with each of the BM.

I'm having both. It was a touchy situation with my sister, but I am just as close with my cousin so I my sis is the matron of honor, and my cousin is the maid of honor. I am so happy that I did what I wanted to do, and not because I was afraid of my sisters reaction

I am having two matrons of honor and FH is having two best men. I think the church told us only one can stand up for each of us on the altar, so we'll have to see if we can talk them into both.

I had my sister as my Maid of Honor and my best friend of over 20 years as my Matron of Honor. It worked out great.

I am having both a maid of honor and a Matron of honor.
My sister is married and therefore is my matron of honor. My maid of honor is my best friend.
We are only having one bestman so all three are going to walk down together.

I am also having both! My sister is Matron and Cousin is Maid. Then I have 6 bridesmaids which are all friends.

I am having a maid of honor and a matron of honor, which works out well. Although, it could be pretty much the same; however being that one is married and the other isn't, I kind of feel like their is a distinction.

I am having a Best Man (my bro) and a Matron of Honor (my cousin, like my sister) and my FH is having a Best Man (his bro) and a Matron of Honor (his sis).
