who had or is having make up done in their home?

are you tipping? I read in a magazine that you are already paying more to have them come to you? Just curious b/c I have six people and it is a lot of money
I was planning on it at first then read something do not tip if they are coming to you b/c you are already paying more but if you go to the salon it is 10-15%
what has everyone done or doing??

I did tip the make-up artist who came to my home. She did a wonderful job on make-up on 5 people, drove a considerable distance to my home, and was a pleasure to work with. So, I had no reservations about tipping her.

I am having Jacqueline Nicole come to my house on my wedding to do my makeup. My mom will also have hers done, as well as any of my BM's who want it done. So far, one of them said yes.

I plan on tipping, since that's how I am. Jacqueline is a sweetheart and she does amazing work.

I am having both hair (Jen from Salon Jalese in Smithtown) and make-up (Jacqueline Nicole), done at the house on the wedding day. I am planning on tipping both. They are both great and do wonderful work and I have no doubts that everything for that day will be wonderful. Both are traveling and it does make it so much easier for me.

In my house- the last place I want to be is in a busy salon the morning of my wedding. If they are running behind I could be late or worse, rushed.
I have JN for makeup and Ciro from New Attitudes doing my hair.

I am having Jacqueline Nicole come to my house and my regular hair lady too. I want to be home that day getting ready, not running around. Its my one day to get pampered before I walk down the aisle.

I'll confess to being a non-tipper. I had a makeup artist who was absolutely fabulous. However, she was freelance so 100% of the charge was going to her. I didn't think it was appropriate to tip in this situation.
