For me it is def. me because FH is so not good with paying things on time. It drives me nuts to pay late fees.

It will be me - FH doesn't even balance his checkbook. He just kind of guesses :)

Is it still possible to balance a checkbook? I know you still can, but I put almost everything on my debit card making it extremely annoying to balance my checkbook. I go over everything so I know is it legit, but I don;t actually balance it. FH will probably handle the bills.

right now it's split-we have a system where we each pay the percentage of the bills based on the percent of money we make. So right now he pays the rent and cell phone bills and I pay everything else. We'll probably keep it this way once we get married, but will combine everything once we buy a house. FH is pretty good with his money. He uses his CC all month long and then pays it off at the end of the month...me not so much.

It will be my FH without a doubt! I have money but I like to spend it on things I don't need. He's need to put me on a budget! At least I know my strengths and weaknesses. LOL

Me!!!! I work in Financial Planning- I know everything there is to know about managing money, investing, saving- all that good stuff. I recently got FH on a plan where he will have 45K paid off in three years. But we already said that when we get married, I am the person handling the finances.

Right now we handle our own credit card bills. We live together, so FH handles the cable bill and I take on the electric bill. Hopefully once we are married, he will take on the bills, but I think I might be a little better with bill paying, so we'll see....
