Who has a journal

From before you got together? I have one (its at my parents house which is where we are moving in after we gett married for about 2 years) from before we got together and when we first got together. Do I throw it away? There is NO way I'd let him read it. What am I supposed to do with it?

Keep it, you may want to look back at it someday. I wouldn't throw it out.

But where do I put it? I doubt he would snoop and read it, cause I would not want to know details of his past relationships. I think I'd want him to junk his...which would be wrong, but I think it would bother me.

My DH knows I keep a journal. I have them from about the past 6 years!!! He would never read it, even though I leave it everywhere.

I would just tell him about it.

Oh he knows about it. It is not at our apartment, at my parents house. I haven't written in it for almost 2 years. I guess I'll hang onto it.

My FH knows all the detals of my past relationships. I wouldn't mind if he read my old journal, even though I would cringe if I read it.

I did!

What's amazing is that I wrote in this journal all the time when I first met DH, to when I decided to break up with him after just a few months of dating...to missing him, to questioning my rash decision, to getting back together! It's amazing to read.

Just last night I read the honeymoon journal that we kept..so many things I forgot (and it was only 8 months ago).

Journals are great!

I have boxes upon boxes of old journals. I STILL have a journal that I write in. I would never throw them away because they ARE me, only on paper. They are everything I experienced and felt and when I look back at them, I am that age again because it throws me back to that very moment. My journals actually date back to when I was 10! I will, however, always keep these at my parents' house. I do not think it's necessary to have them in my own house. Not because I would care if JT read them, but I think I would DIE if I have children and they got their hands on them. My sister and I used to sit in the attic and go through all of my parents' old things, so I know kids do it. My parents knew about it, but still.

I keep a journal, on & off since I was 15. If my bf found/read them I don't know what I would do. I do love looking back & re-reading them. It's great to see how much I've grown up and just to recall old memories.

I've been open w/ the bf, but still wouldn't want him reading the intimate details/feelings I had.

I think they are a great way to look back and what you did, accomplishments, etc. I will keep it, but just leave it at my parents house. NOW...if my PARENTS read it, I'd just die!
