Who Has NEVER been a Bridesmaid?

I have never been a bridesmaid...I think that made this wedding more difficult to plan! Also I am very sensitive to my BMs because of this...they picked the dress, they can wear whatever shoes they want, do their hair however they want, etc. I am so worried of appearing 'Bridezilla' like!

Has anyone else never been a bridesmaid?

me too, never been a bridesmaid yet. I was supposed to be one this summer, but the wedding was called off.

I've been one 5 times...if you need any help/advice let me know! But it's kind of the same issue for me...I'm very conscious of what my Bms are spending, wearing, etc. because I know what's a like when a bride doesn't!!!

I have but all of the weddings were in the 80s. So it was G-d awful. Dresses with poufy sleeves, crinoline and a big bow on the butt. GOOD TIMES!

seriously now....I was a bm once, but I was the 'outcast' of it - I was a college freshman, and the rest of the bms were her good friends - i was just a cousin, so i did no planning or anything.....just wrote a check to help cover the costs of the shower

I have been a BM a couple of times... and I got lucky.. the brides were wonderful!!! We even got to pick our own dresses out.. we actually decided on one and we all loved it! We got to pick our own shoes too!
