Who feels just like quitting and getting a different job???????
Who feels like quitting because you are doing SO much work yet little $$$$??
I am so TIRED of being a CSR by phone & yet i still have to do MORE and MORE and MORE work now since my Comp Merge with other now I have MORE things to do YET i only get paid $12 p/h!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I can have a job where I can work with Customers... I AM SO A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON but Face to face... not sitting down the WHOLE day in a office....

sorry hun! That has to stink! I have days where i ?? my decision to be a teacher but all in all its a good job! I still cant wait to take a year off to have a baby! LOL...

I so want to be a teacher... :'( but I cant... I always wanted to be a ESL teacher or Spanish teacher.

you should check out healthcare. The patient reps are hospitals and radiology clinics I think would make more, and you meet some interesting people (and see interesting cases).
I love my job, but hate my boss...

SIgh, I have good days and bad days. I work with FH so that helps the day go by.
They let go a girl in my department so I've gotten more work with the same pay and it is incredibly frustrating.
What makes me feel a tad better is I get paid overtime...but sometimes I feel like I HAVE to work late to be paid what I should.
oye...I feel ya chica, it's okay to look elsewhere. Just be smart about it and don't quit on emotions alone!

I used to tutor korean kids in their english. You can make extra money that way

i'm the same way... i go through waves. sometimes i love the relaxed atmosphere that i have and then other times, i hate the office politics around here that i just want to quit...
it's a lose, lose situation.

I hate my situation - not the job itself. If my job was FT again I would be fine - but now that I just freelance the situation totally s u c k s.

I love my job; but right now it's been very stressful and i've been thinking to myself what other jobs i can do with less stress but same amount of pay!

Hospital not a good idea for me... not such a blood person... radiology? dont u need a degree for things like da???

I do get paid overtime too... but still!!!!!!! I have to work on Wednesday/Thrusday 12hrs per day to make some extra $ since we get paid biweekly... they take MORE taxes!!!!

as much as I can complain..I have to be grateful esp during times like this.. my gf lost her job last yr and has a mortgage with her husband - she is still looking.. yes he helps her out but its not the same! esp when you are use to having your $$, your own financial freedom.. .im not saying you are ungrateful but try and make the best of it ....
i know if i start complaining my lists can go on and on but I am grateful to have a job and supportive team at work when im going through a tough time etc etc..
its hard out there love and many of us dont love our jobs but im not going to complain...i hate busy season but i dont hate my job..
if you dont like the situation you have to change it .. try and go for something you love when the recession is over... or tutor kids on the side ( best of both worlds - earn extra $$ and you are a teacher )
once you realize that the situation you are currently in is not right for you...no matter how far in you are - at that point if you stay then you begin to waste time...Dont waste your time @ a job you hate... have a plan B and do something you love or have a passion for! regrets are forever ...

sometimes i hate mine. I'm in promotional marketing and it can be stressful. Last year we all got got a day and I lost 20% of my salary. I just got that day back. I'm happy I have a job.
I say, just do some research and see if there's anything else out there you'd like to do.spome jobs require classes, some a degree etc. but ya never know what you can find.

you don't need a degree for customer service/patient reps, just radiology technicians need them. AND- if you work a big enough company, they may even help out with school if you were interested.

I am a HIV social worker and some days my patients and coworkers have me sooooooooo stressed out that I just want to say 'F' it and walk out. But, then I think oh yeah we have a wedding to pay for. Hang in there, till you find something better

i loath my job hence why Im back at school. i hope to get my degree and say ADIOS job. But with the job market the way it is and a wedding to pay for there is no option for me to quit or look for another job since I would def not make what I am making even after our pay cut last year.
