ALIKING and I were just discussing this? Is it your Bridal Party or the Bridal Party and MOB, or MOB and MOH? We're confused! As some of you know from an earlier post of mine today, my MOH is my slacker sister and she is about to get demoted from the position!

My sister is getting married in March and I am her MOH. She is very young and so is her bridal party (I am the oldest one!!!). So I cannot really depend on the BP financially. And also since I am paying for my own wedding later the same year I cannot really afford it either. Luckily for me my mom and her FMIL are paying for the restaurant and I divided up 'jobs' for the BP. For example, one girl is doing decorations, my cousins are making a wishing well, I did invitations and favors.

My MOH & one BM (my daughter) hosted & paid for my shower.
I was very worried about my MOH over extending her budget and she did. She wasn't working and she is the type of person that would spend every penny she has(including the rent) to give me the shower she thought I should have. Because I knew she would NEVER accept any help with $$$ from me I had my DH offer her help which I was going to give him the $ to give to her but he wouldn't take it from me either. He gave her about $300 to her to help cover some of it.

I don't know - I think my MOH and mother are coordinating it because my MOH is my sister and she's incredibly organized! But I know she's planning on including my bridal party as well....I'm going to be surprised though, i have no idea who's doing what or when what is going to happen...

My mom and grandma are paying for it. The BMs are chipping in, in other ways.

I knew all about mine since I didn't want to be surprised. In fact it was at my house but I had to leave for the weekend. Wasn't allowed to see anything before so FH (at the time) went out east to his parents summer place(One of my favorite places to go in the summer) and came home to my shower on Sunday.

I'm giving my daughter hers. We have a large Den with a high ceiling, big skylights and French doors across one wall. I've always envisioned this room with round tables and high balloons. I can't wait to decorate it.

I think my best frind my Maid OH is gettng things rolling. My sister , My matron OH is in florida and she is doing what she can from there. I think they are calling the outlaws to help with things too and everyione is making a joint effort. even freidns from work. cant wait to see how this pans out!
