paying for their bms makeup to be done? vs giving a trinket?

I will be paying for my sis's hair and make-up and my niece's hair.
They are the only two in my bridal party, but I am also still giving them a gift.
My sister has done a lot for me, and is on her own hosting my shower. My mom passed away a few years ago, so it's just the two of us.

Me too. I wish that I could have but the money tree is not growing anymore. SO SAD!

We are paying for their hair/makeup and giving them slippers for the reception, plus probably their jewlery... (nothing too crazy with the jewlery I hope though..haven't found anything yet!)

I paid for their day of jewelry and bought them other things.

I didn't pay for their hair or make up, but didn't make them get their hair or make up done nor use the vendors I used.

I'm paying for hair, makeup and their dress (except for my sister...since she is getting married soon after me, so we both agreed to pay for our own since it would even out anyway)
