Who is a registry peaker;-)

I admit it. I peak everyday and get sooo excited every time I see another gift purchased. I know I shouldn't but I cannot help myself. It is so much fun to think about all my new 'toys'.

My FH is!! LOL. I would like to be surprised but every few days I get home and he says '_____ is off our registry list'

I'll admit it's hard not to peak though

As soon as I noticed stuff was being taken off my registry I said I wasn't gonna look cause I want to be surprised. But everytime I think of something we registered for that I hope we get, I'd peek to see anyone got it yet.
I can't wait for my shower!!!

I have actually been pretty good. I started peaking and then noticed that a lot of things have been purchased and thoughT...'maybe my shower invitations are out already?' I want it to be a surprise so I have vowed NOT to peak.

(Which is REALLY hard and now you guys just sparked my interest!) LOL!

Mrs2Be..I am glad I am not alone. I looked in the beginning when I was still finalizing it and when things came off I felt bad so I haven't since and that was May. I know my mom is working hard to make it a surprise and I know too much already I figured I would let this be a surprise. If I monitor it then I will definitely guess the shower date.

Lately, I have the urge to peek and it is sooo difficult not too look. Plus I know FI is peeking which makes it worse.

People think I am a wierdo for not looking.

we are registering next month, my wedding is in may but my MOH told me to do it then so we are.my FH said he is going to 'fix' the webpage so everytime i look i see the same page without any changes LOL!

I admit it, I am so bad.... I peak all the time. I am surprised at how many gifts we have gotten for our engagement. ( We sent out announcements) The only thing is that we registered in a store that notifies you when someone purchases something, so I will definately know when my shower is coming up. My Fh thinks I am a registry peaker addict!!!

Okay I admit it, not only do i peak at it but i still play with my registery and take things off and put things on. I can't help it! I may have teeney weeney spending itch and may be a little bit of a shopaholic and as I really shouldn't be spending any more money it helps curb my spending as I feel like i am going shopping! The first time I saw that stuff was purchased i was so happy and did a little 'happy dance we got presents' thing and my FI thought i was cute, but loco.... definitely loco. He's just as bad as I am now. He'll ask me all the time 'did we get anything else?' Hmmm... think we sound alike?

Ok, I did it too, but it actually turned out to be a disappointment in a way too.
As some of you might have read, my shower was this past Sunday, I had been checking my registry all the time until a couple of days before (I forced myself to stop!!)
Anyway, the thing I wanted most was this really good vacuum, I have 2 dogs that shed and my vacuum now breaks in half everytime I use it.
So I had registered for a pretty expensive vacuum, and I saw a few weeks ago that somebody bought it...I was sooo excited.
Well, guess what? Sunday came and went and I didnt get the vacuum. My Mom had said she was going to buy it for me, but it was already gone off the registry. So did FH's grandmother.
I am really really happy with everything else I got, but cant help but be disappointed with the vacuum because I thought I was going to get it. So now Im kinda disappointed that I looked at my registry...

we are the worst. we look all the time, add stuff, change stuff. we are at bed bath and beyond a lot just to get regular stuff we need, and sometimes buy ourselves something off the registry for fun!

I am really bad too, I check all of the time! Angie3, I do the same thing with adding and taking things off. At least I know I am not the only one. (Everyone including my FI thinks I am going bonkers)
