Is ne one doing, or has ne one done a beach themed wedding? Ne suggestions or ideas? We r looking into renting a beach house for our small wedding reception and ceremony and one woman already told us she would be happy to accomidate us.
Ne ideas or suggestions for centerpeices, decor, ceremony???
OOOO ALSO: What about if the party starts b4 the ceremony (if the ceremony is at sunset? OOOO I am sooo happy today!!!!!

there are a bunch of Lessings properties that are on the beach and are really nice. I don't know about pricing though (sorry) but i think their websites have the approximate numbers.
beach wedding sounds great - i originally wanted one too but ended up falling in love with Woodbury Country Club instead lol

Hanson Ellis has some really cute favors and beach themed 'stuff' ... they're semi-pricey though but maybe you can just get ideas from there and buy the things elsewhere:
I just had an engagement party and the favors we had could be very beach themed. I don't know if you have seen them before, but they are adorable. They slide onto the bottom of your wine glass as a coaster. If you have different colors or patterns they also serve as a glass identifier the way the wine glass charms do.
I just saw something like this is Port Jeff yesterday! Soooooooooooo cute!!!!!

Mine was beach themed.
For flowers, we went with a more tropical look. My bo-k was orchids. The CPs also had different types of orchids. The vase had sea shells in it. Unfortunately, I don't have pics of the CPs on this computer.
For escort cards, DH made origami sail boats.
For the CH, we had sailboat votive candles.
The favors were dolphin bottle openers, which we put into small straw bags that looked like miniature versions of beach bags.

I did a beach themed wedding and we had the party start before the ceremony...as guests arrived at 3pm we had food & drinks available..then about an hour later we had them announce the ceremony..you can check out my review and albums for pics and more details...good luck!

I would never want the party to start before my ceremony...I wouldn't want people getting drunk and possibly acting out at my wedding ceremony.
