We're doing both..but we are not having the garter put on the leg of the girl who catches the bok...that can be uncomfortable for everyone!

i think im going to do both, havent really sat down and thought about it but every wedding ive been to it always ended up turning into a fun thing. There are alternatives though for those who don't want to

I want to do both too. Believe it or not, both weddings I was in last year didn't have either one and I felt like it would've been fun.
Some people say that there won't be a lot of single ladies or guys are their weddings, but I think it's fun for anyone, don't you???

i feel the same way too. It can turn into alot of fun and have been to weddings where that was the highlight bc of how funny it was. If the 'IN' thing is not to do it, then were actually now doing the untraditional thing lol if that made sense.
I like it and never had a problem with it. Also dont think you need to have alot of single people, it would be more ridiculous if you had like 50-100 ppl trying to catch either one haha

We are not doing the garter toss, FH doesnt want to. which is fine. i didnt want to do it anyway.
As for the BOK toss, its up in the air still. I am going to really have to see how many single people i will have at the wedding. at this point it may be a handful, i will have to see when i have my final count how many girls who are single who will go up...I would be happy with 10 girls any less might not look right.

at first i was not going to do the garter thing but then realized we can just throw it. fh will throw it to any men, married, single, kids, as a good luck thing and i am throwing two bo-ks- mine and the throw away. i am not wearing the garter or doing anything other then tossing it.

we're doing both....FH thinks people will be disappointed if we don't, plus I kind of secretly want to (even though I have NEVER gone up to try to catch it b/c I hate when people try to pressure my relationships!!)

Still going to have FH remove my garter b/c it will be a surprise for him....
