The last few weddings I have been to have not only had a dance with the bride and her dad and the groom and his mom but also siblings. Any ideas on this?

i'm dancing with my brother and I'd like FH to dance with his sister ... but that leaves his brother... maybe I'll dance with him too - or is that weird?

I danced with my brother at his wedding, so we are going to dance to the same song at mine.

my and DH's family breeds like rabbits..we would have need like 12 dances for all the siblings and parents!

Well, we were planning on that but since FH and his sis are no longer on speaking terms and they won't be for the wedding and I am 99.99999% sure she won't even come I feel bad in a way to still dance with my brother but I will because I love him and I want to!!! FH won't feel bad about it though but I am sure his mom will. OH well.

I haven't decided yet. I have two brothers and danced with one brother at his wedding, but the other isn't married. I don't want to take up too much time having all the spotlight dances, so I may end up skipping it.

i was thinking that too - if i dance with my dad, my mom, brother, sister, grandfather, godfather, etc. i may as well have a spotlight dance with each of my guests! i feel bad leaving people out i will dance with all just not make it a spotlight dance

We are not doing this but we just went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago where they did this.

My dad passed away, so I will be dancing with both my brothers but 1 song. maybe half & half.....if thats not dumb!!!

I'll dance with anybody. I would love to dance with both my siblings. (sister and brother) I don't think that it will be anything too formal though.

I have four siblings - two boys two girls. He has two brothers - so I would say no we are not doing this. Although it is a cute idea.

I'd never heard this before... hmmm, something to think about. We hadn't planned on it. I'm sure at some point, we would dance with our siblings but hadn't htought of making a spotlight out of it.
