Who is getting a personal trainer?

And where? I plan on getting one soon just to get me into the routine. I would like to get one through my gym but FH and I don't know where we'll be living just yet and I don't want to recommit to my gym until I know for sure.

I get a half hour included in my gym membership. I am going to have them help make up a routine to get in shape and follow

I have one. My friend Danielle at Sunrise Fitness in Massapequa. I lost 8 lbs in 9 days so far!

My trainer left Long Island and now trains in the city. He was awesome. He had an hour long class for abs that he called an ab party. It was so fun, I never dreaded going.

FH & I did so well with him, once he left, we gave up, but we are back on track going to the gym, minus the trainer. We are trying to do things he taught us.

that would be great if they would do that

i had a session included in mine.. typically for that 'included session' they just show you all the machines and show you how to use them correctly.. its probably unlikely that they will make up a plan for you

i have one at NYSC. he's pretty good. i'm upping my sessions to 3x a week though; i didn't really do well with 2x

i have one, but more because I have chronic back pain, than to get in wedding shape. I'm hoping she'll help with both, though!

i would love to, it's just not in my budget right now. i had a couple of free sessions with one at the gym we go to, but i felt she really wasn't into it, so i didnt' get much out of it. i see other trainers at the gym who work their clients really hard, and that's what i wanted.

I have a friend who is a PT at Bally Total Fitness, but does his own boot camp on the side for like 15 bucks a session.

he kicks my a$$... I could tell you next time we're getting together
