or a similar one. FH is a musician and guitars really are his life lol. He's recently been saying he needs to invest in a good acoustic, so this might just do the trick. But if I know him like I think I do, I'm sure he'll impulse buy it in a few months. Oh well, at least it's a thought!

I might get him 2 seats from the old Yankee Stadium. I need to start putting money away for it now though. It's like $1500 for the two of them.

My FH wants this really expensive lens for his camera, so depending on if I have any $ left by the end of this, I'd like to get him that. But its like 2K , so I don't know if its in the cards

FH said he didn't think people normally gave gifts, and he joked that he spent enough on the ring and we are spending so much on the wedding, that we shouldn't be doing it, but I wanted to get him something

i wish i could figure out what im gunna get him!! what a tough one, i was going to by him this watch he was dying for and he bought a fake one and lovesss the fake and doesnt want a real one how does that happen? thats why god made me a girl i guess, id never turn down the real diamond, haha really tho!

we're actually not getting each other a gift. we are paying for our own wedding and honeymoon and have to find an pt to live in before this and furnish it, so this is out. lol

His mom is an interesting person (its the nicest thing I can call her), and she doesn't think I treat him right. So, she tells him these things so when he doesn't get a gift from my parents she can throw in my face how rude and disrespectful my family is. I have already told him it is incorrect and the BRIDE gives the GROOM the present- parents are not involved. According to her, the groom's parents' gift is ALLOWING him to marry me!! What a pill!

I've nevvvvver heard that. I don't know if that's some tradition from their culture (if they follow any other traditions), but i've been involved in many weddings and I dont' know anything about that. My parents are not (that i know of) getting my FH a gift. They are helping with our wedding. which is more than enough.
