help!! im close to putting my visual together but my theme is glam, sweet, sofisticated.. i think my girls are wearing black im not sure what style dress yet for them my chair covers are white and i m having a white silky sash bow my flowers are creams and white roses with yellow and white snap dragons
im not sure if i should add color ... everyone keeps putting my ideas down and im starting to think if i should really go this route... the cream color white look ... the girls will have the same color florwers and the reception will be lit in xmas white lights and ill have rose petals on tables w candles ... can any one else see this visual .. what r u doing for 8.8.08 ??
Hi, congrats and welcome to the boards. I'm 2 days after you and my colors are champagne, ivory with pink accents. It's your wedding you can do whatever you want. What colors are ur bridesmaids bok?

Hey date twin! My colors are lilac and pink, all the girls are going to be wearing lilac and the flowers will have lilac and pink in them, and since pink will match the RH better the linens will be pink and the chairs will have pink bows on them. You can see the sample of my CP's in my album... they are large martini glasses, with flowers inside and around the bottom and then I will have votive candles and lilac rose pettles around the table. Going with the martini glass CP's, each table is going to be named after a different drink, and the favors for that table are going to be a small bottle of the liquor that go with that drink. And all of the flowers are going to have a light sparkle on them... I love everyrhing sparkly!
I don't think your vision is wrong at all, I think it sounds really beatuful! I think it's up to you and how you envision your wedding day, dont' listen to anyone else!

my birthday is 08-08-08 and I'm getting married a week after you. I'm going with bright colors (see my album) but I've seen some beautiful black BM dresses. they look great with bright flowers

im 2 days after you! im doing a color called chambord...its a very pink-ish wine color, with bright pink flowers but you can do whatever you want!

My sister got married in august 8 years ago, and she had all white and cream colors, with votive candles around the cp's it was gorgeous, very classic, very romantic. I can totally picture what you're thinking of!
I'm getting married the day after you and am doing sunset colors like pink peach, cream,coral,etc... I originally wanted to do white and cream but it didn't look right in my RH
