Who is going to start decorating for the holidays this weekend?

I can't do it. It seems to early to me. I don't start anything until Dec. 1st.

I put my Channukah decorations up last Tuesday. Channukah is really easy though. Christmas decorations used to take me so long, Channukah is just so simple. A Menorah, table cloth, runner, and some gilt, a few dredials viola!

I will be helpng my parents do their house this weekend. My dad gets confused and thinks he's Clark Grizwald, seriouslly, when I lived home I had to sleep w/ an eye mask since the house & front yard, literally have thousands of lights.

Tommmorow morning I'm buying those new LED holiday lights for my parents. They use 96% less energy than the traditional ones, so they will save some money, on their LIPA bills.

We actually went and bought and put up our very first Christmas tree yesterday.
We started a new tradition for ourselves.
The day before thanksgiving he'll put put up our tree and put the lights on it while i bake or make stuff for Thanksgiving dinner. Then we order Chinese food and watch bad tv.

it was lovely!

it's the first time ever the decorations went up BEFORE my birthday. (Dec. 7th.) I figure, you only get a month really of the decorations if you wait till December so if i'm gonna spend the money on it, I'm gonna get a lot of use out of it

Chanukah is only like 2 weeks away and I might as well put out the x-mas stuff since its all in the same bin, ya know.

i am going to do it today but only cuz FH has work and this is the first black friday i haven`t had work (thank god for getting out of retail!) so i think now is the best time. i actually saw a house yesterday that already had their tree up and lit!!
