Re: Who is invited to RD
It depends on how big you want it, but definitely:
Parents BP Readers Parents of FG's / RB's.
You can also invite OOT guests and close friends/family that are not in the BP if you choose to.

Re: Who is invited to RD
This is the one and only thing I don't care about!!! FSIL and FMIL want to host it even though our RH doesn't do rehearsals.
I don't care if they invite the whole freakin' world. I will however be annoyed if they limit their guest list and have less than I always end up having to have over at our place. But in the end...really, WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh heart rate up again. Here comes the fat burn.

Re: Who is invited to RD
I'm SO glad you asked this question because FH and I have been talking about this for 4 days now! I told him 'my family invites OTT' and he goes 'well that's weird because I've never heard of that' LOL like he knows! He wants BP with dates, parents, grandparents, and FG/RB's parents. My parents want BP with dates, Parents, grandparents, OTT and FG/RB's parents (which ends up being about 60 people). I don't even want one LOL! We're getting married at the hall so we don't have a rehearsal. It really depends on what you've heard of and what you can afford I guess.

you dont have to invite them with a guest, thats your choice.. im only inviting BP with guests if they are in a relationship, married or whatever... its not like they can bring a random person.... ive never been to a RD where significant others werent invited.

Re: Who is invited to RD
We had our bridal party, parents/grandparents, my godmother (OOT), and our JBM's parents who is DH's aunt and uncle. We invited DH's godparents who are his aunt and uncle (and the parents of his 2 GM cousins) but they couldn't come. Oh also my mom made us invite her two cousins that were there from Argentina for the wedding.

I think it's only right, at least for those that are engaged, married, in a serious relationship. When I was a BM in my best friend's wedding, FH was not in the wedding party but was invited to the RD with me.
But if you're talking about inviting BP with guests that you don't really know, I don't think that's necessary.

Agreed - we're inviting BP with significant others - not just any guest. I think it would be strange to be invited to a rehearsal dinner as a BM and not be able to bring FH.
We're having parents, grandparents, BP with significant others, parents of FGs and readers. No OOT - but we are also having our rehearsal dinner the Thursday night before the Saturday wedding, so no OOT will be around yet anyway.
