I saw a couple of rehearsal dinner posts, and it made me wonder:
Do ALL OOT guests come, or just OOT family? Also, is it ALL OOT family, or just your closest family?

HI, I think its only OOT that are in your bridal party. It gets too be too much $$$ to start inviting all OOT guests. We did invite the readers, grandparents and BP with dates- that was 45 people- I couldnt imagine if we had to invite ALL OOT- it would have been out of control. If your budget can do it- do it but if not save your $$$. it is NOT required. GL
Its really up to you if you want to make the RD a big event or keep it limited to the people who are involved at the church.

This is similar to what I am planning -- though there are about 4 people who are close OOT family not directly involved in the weddnig that will get invites as well. My total will be about 45 too. I also couldn't invite all OOT'rs -- way too many people!

Here's who we're inviting.
Our parents, priest, our Bridal Party (no guests unless Married) and our FG/RB's parents.

My FIL does not think that it is right to invite OOT guests to the Rehearsal dinner considering we will have many. he said that he will be sponsoring a brunch for the day after the wedding and that should be enoug fo them! Thank goodness b/c it would have been a huge expense for us with all the OOT guests!
