Re: Who is or has taken pictures before the ceremony
I did, and don't regret it a single bit. It didn't take anything away from walking down the aisle and seeing my DH waiting for me on the other side. It's still emotional and amazing.

We will be taking pictures before the ceremony. We wanted to be able to enjoy and mingle during our cocktail hour.

Re: Who is or has taken pictures before the ceremony
I think I will have them taken before for a few reasons - I'm getting married at my hall, with the cocktail hour immediately following and I don't want to miss any of it; I will most likely be a nervous wreck and seeing FH before hand will calm me down; I would really love to have my pictures taken at the Oyster Bay Arboretum - the only way I'll have time to do this is if they are done beforehand.

we are!...we feel it's better this way -and we will get to enjoy more time at tha hall and relax without having to be pulled out.I'm sure it will still be a 'moment' when we see one another walking down the aisle..

We are. We're getting married at our hall and we didn't want to miss our CH - we wanted to use that time to mingle with our guests so that we can (hopefully!) enjoy our food and dance the night away during the reception.
Our photographer is arranging for us to see one another for the first time - just us and the 2 photographers...so we'll get 2 special moments - that one and when I walk down the aisle.

We are taking pics before the ceremony also. Our ceremony is at the hall and we want to enjoy the cocktail hour and our guests.

We are ... we live together and will both be getting ready at the house because it just makes the most sense.
