My mom gave us a check to cover the CH and my FIL's told us twice they would pay for the HM (I still havent seen that, so I am guessing they wont), we are paying for everything else.

we paid for mostly everything ourselves which was great because i did what i wanted when i wanted it and no one said a word.
my mom did buy my dress ,veil,shoes,tiara,undergarments,hair, makeup,my toasting flutes,guest book,flower girl basket and pen for guest book.
inlaws paid for rehearsal dinner and tips day of the wedding

We're paying for basiclaly everything ourselves. My mom is going to buy my dress, and FH's parents said tey have a small amount of money set aside, probably a thousand or two, but for the most part we're paying it ourselves.

FH and i are paying for everything....my parents are great though and are trying to help out....his don't help with anything!
like my mom gave me a deposit for the video, photogrpaher and paid for my eve of milady dress, and that whole thing

My Father is paying for 3/4 of the hall and we are paying the rest. We are paying for: The DJ, Photographer, favors, invites,my dress, his tux, Video FMIL & Step-FFIL are paying for: Flowers and Limos
FFIL and Step- FMIL are paying for: Honeymoon
We will pay for anything else we decide to add on.

fh parents: their guests, the officiants (our wedding gift), dinner the night before
my mom: a portion of our guests
my dad: the video (our wedding gift)
fh and me: most of the hall, the photographer, the flowers, attire, gifts, favors, whatever else is left.
i have to say, if it weren't for my dad and stepmom, we wouldn't have done a video. if it weren't for fh parents, we would have had a justice of the peace. we weren't sure what our parents were going to chip in, if anything, but so far, they've been helping.

We are paying for mostly everything.. My parents are paying for my dress, veil, tiara and they said, they will help us with what they can. We are not expecting much more..
The grooms parents have not offered anything.
Did other brides ask for their parents help? Should we ask the Grooms parents? My parents just offered.

we got really lucky. our parents are basically splitting the cost of the wedding. except FHs parents are throwing in a few more because my parents made an eparty.
my mom wants to pay for my sister and my dress out of her pocket and not include it in either of our budgets.
FH and i are paying for the honeymoon, if we decide on using favors, and any incidentals that come up.

my parents are paying for the hall (up to 150 people, 50 for them, 50 for us, and 50 for FH family)-if anyone goes over on thier list, they pay for it....and they are paying for my dress, and veil... FH parents gave us thier timeshare for the honeymoon-so we just have to pay airfare and we are paying for everything else....
