Your parents, the groom's parents or you and the groom? (or some combo). I'm just wondering if it is still most common for the bride's parents to pay for the wedding or what?

my parents are paying for the reception, my dress and are also letting us use their timeshare for our HM. We are paying for the dj, photo/video, flowers, limos, airfare to Aruba, favors, invitations etc. FH's parents keep sending us money though which we have been putting towards things here and there which is very helpful!

My parents are paying for most of it, FH and I are paying for the videographer, HM, and Photographer. FILs are contributing nothing, not a red cent, nada...got the point?!? lol

My parents bought my dress and are paying for the reception. We are paying for everything else. JT's parents are contributing NOTHING.

My mom gave us $5000 as a gift, mainly to be used towards my dress and stuff.
We borrowed $10,000 and we will have to pay that back right after the wedding, so outside of the gift , we are paying alone for it.

Me and my FH are paying for most of it both of my parents said they would give us x amout of $$$ but we are not counting on it. so we may be paying for 100%of it. Yikes

my mom bought my dress...my father/stepmother are paying about half, fmil pay about 1/4 and fh and i the rest...wow, even with all that help we still need sooooo much moola!!! AAAAHHHH!!

Us! Almost 100% on our own.
His mom is taking care of the favors and I *think* the RD. My mom took care of my dress.
Other then that its all on us

My parents are paying for the hall, flowers and my dress. We covered everything else with a small donation from FFIL and FMIL.
