FH told me that his parents will pay for their guests but they have yet to say anything about it. My parents are paying for almost everything except some detail stuff that I wanted, including our rings, the ketubah, limos, and HM FH and I took care of these things.

FH & I ONLY! I would not have it any other way. This is one reason why we are having an 06 wedding. We both have made some sacrifices & we able to save all the money for the wedding in a little less then 1 year....

I honestly would not have had it any other way

my parents are paying for most of the reception (possibly all - they gave us a set amount of $$$ so it depends on how many guests come!). My mom is paying for my dress :) FILs are paying for the band, flowers and part of the photo. we are paying for the rest!

FI and I are paying for it 100%! Like Kristen said, I wouldn't want it any other way. My father stated he would give us a generous gift after the wedding, but I am not counting on it. While it's tough, I am happy that we will have the wedding that WE want.

We're paying for the reception and photography, His father is paying for our flowers and my parentsare paying for everything else..

We are so blessed and fortunate that my parents are taking care of our wedding and then his parents are taking care of the rest!

Mostly parents about 75%
then his parents are helping out a lot- about 20%
and we are doing the small ticket items, and honeymoon but my parents are doing the airfare- so about 5%

Mostly my parents, with FH and I paying for the balance....FIL's may help us out a bit, but that would be their wedding gift to us.

thank god for mom and dad - there paying for the wedding and paid for our engagement party - we are just paying for the DJ and Photographer

FH and I are paying for everything ourself. His mother and Stepdad had the nerve to ask if my parents were going to pay for anything and they would match what my parents are going to chip in. Meanwhile they have the money to help out where as my parents just get by. FH Father and Stepmother asked the same thing I told FH that I think that is just rude. If they want to help out they should just help out and not worry if my paretns are going to help us out or not.

We are all paying for the wedding. Both of our parents are putting money towards the reception and then paying for something else. My parents paid for my dress and engagement party..his parents are paying for flowers...and the rest is on us!

We're pretty much paying for everything ourselves!! But we're getting help in certain areas.

My mom is paying for the DJ, she paid for my veil and tiara, and she's buying a lot of the small DIY stuff. My grandparents are helping to pay for my dress, and my dad is helping with the HM.

FH's aunt and uncle are standing in for his parents but I'm not expecting much help from them financially.
