on the big day?!?! your father or your fh?? I've seen it done both ways! I've always heard that the veil is protecting you from evil and fh is supposed to pull it back out of your face when your pronounced husband and wife, as he will take the resonsibility of protecting you..isn't that soo cute..so i think i want him to do that!
my papa - i dont want it in front of my face for the whole ceremony ( i have seen some people lift it right before the kiss)
i was thinking of the same thing... I think i'll have my dad do it so my veil is not in my face throughout the ceremony and we get better pictures.

im gonna say my dad because i dont want it in my face the whole time...but the fh part is cute!
they don't do that in the jewish religion because the groom has to make sure the bride is the woman he should be marrying before the ceremony begins. So I think my veil will already be pulled back?

yup, apparently there was a man a very long time ago who was duped in to marrying the wrong bride and he didn't find out until after the ceremony was over and it was too late and it's been tradition ever since. I learned that from my irish catholic FH![]()
