we are! we never even considered not doing pics beforehand. and we're doing a super special reveal with just the photographer to capture the shots. so we'll still have that moment - it just will be before walking down the aisle.

FH was originally against it ( go figure) but when I explained all the benefits bc we are getting married at the RH it will be so much easier. Another thing is we are having an evening wedding, our ceremony doesnt start until 7:30 so I want some day light photos. We are taking our whole BP to Argyle park in Babylon before and the photographer is going to do a 'reveal' when I arrive. I'm excited about it I think it will relieve alot of my nerves

We're still in the discussion mode..but most likely we will see each other beforehand. We live in queens and the ceremony/rh is in LI so we want to take picture before the ceremony somewhere in queens.

I was against it at first, but when my photographer explained it to us, we were all for it! I haven't met with any negative reactions once I explained how it works. It's not like you spend the night together, wake up and get ready together. It's a special moment set up by the photographer after you're all dressed and ready so you can have a special moment and actually get it caught on film, because it's really difficult to catch a reaction that happens so quick. Some guys cry the entire time the bride walks down the aisle, and some have such a quick reaction and then they move on to the ceremony and there's no pic of it. I think it will make me less nervous walking down the aisle! It's like this very private moment is made so public!

Us, absolutely. We are going to have to see each other to sign the Ketubah and perform the Bedeken so we might as well get my maniac 3+ hours of pictures in before the ceremony

I'm not, the first time I will see FH that day will be walking down the aisle. But I like the reveal idea, and saw this when my cousin got married and it was very sweet and special for them, and allowed them to spend more time together before the ceremony which was really nice. It's a great option if that's what you want!

we did it, and it was a great decision because I got to talk to him. though I'm pretty outgoing, I wouldn't have let myself have the same emotional reaction as I did just seeing him by myself--it was a very special moment.
