your toasting flutes & cake cutting set?

I found one that matches my cake topper and wanted to buy it, but my mom said someone is suppose to buy it for you?

so I was just curious as to who is suppose to do that?

Oh I didn't know there was a rule for that. My MOH happened to buy my cake cutting set, and my sister bought my flutes.

ETA: These were both engagement presents.

We put ours on our registry before our engagement party and received both as gifts.

Did you find yours at the place that you are planning to register at?

it's not written in stone that someone is supposed to buy it for you but what most people do is put that stuff on yhe registry and someone will most likely end up purchasing it for you. I feel like it's either like your mom or maybe MOH that purchases that stuff for you. I got my friend hers when I was MOH.

no i found mine on ebay where i got my cake topper from

so i dont know what to do. i wasn't sure if there was like an ediquette of who bought it or i can just order them myself?

I didnt know there was a rule. I bought our set. I loved it when i saw it I loved it and it wasnt at a store where we had our registry

anyone... you can buy them yourself if you want... we used the toasting flutes at the Coral House... my mom bought me the cake knife/server at the Lenox outlet

I am not doing a cake cutting set IMO ithink its a waste I wont use it I already have a new set that matches my china.... For my engagement party I got 2 sets of toasting floats.. one of my cousins got my the cladder and one says bride one says groom but i returned those... My MOH got me a set from Ireland that just has the cladder which i prefer. I dont want everything to say bride and groom and we will have these forever

Well after talking with Fh about this, my mom overheard it all and gave me her credit card to order them both!!

So here are my cake serving set and toasting flutes that match my fall theme and also our cake topper which is in my already purchased album!

Yay I have the best mom!!

So cute! And so nice of your mom! I'm sure someone would have given us our flutes and cake serving set, but I'm so impatient I bought them as soon as we were engaged!
