Her parents are responsible for this, however, if you think it will be a burden on them you, of course, could always offer to buy it. It really depends on the situation, but just like your bridesmaids are responsible for their dresses, so the same is for the flowergirl, etc..

Yes they said the bride pays for it!
My flowergirl is no relation to me, (my MOH's niece) however, I love her, but I thought they were supposed to pay, I was just making sure. Today, we are going to buy it. I am not going to say anything I guess and I'll just pay for it

Her parents should have known this going in. My flowergirls mother is a member of my BP and she wouldn't hear of me paying for her dress! If it is going to be an issue I can see why you would just pay for it yourself who needs the hassle! Anyway have FUN picking it out today!

Thanks Stacey, I just had to confirm the parents usually pay for it, I thought so, but I guess it doesn't matter, I am broke anyway!

Edited to say nowadays, I guess there is no 'who is supposed to'. we are paying for every last thing ourselves anyway except our RD.

Yea! Usually the parents pay for it. Just like when you ask the girls to be your BM's they assume the cost will involve buying the dress!

I always thought it was the parents. I got the shock of my life when my FH told me that he's supposed to pay for the tuxes!! He said tht's how they do it in Ireland. (I was supposed to pay for the girls dresses) I'm glad I'm getting married in the U.S.!
