Who is this Guy Masqerading as My FH??

First he says there will be no first dance. Why? Because he hates to dance, doesn't know how to dance, and thinks dancing is pointless.

So, I convince him to take lessons. He continues to crack jokes about steel tipped shoes etc, and keeps moaning about how he hates to dance.

Fast forward to week 4 of dance class. OH MY, he tells my mother he's having FUN!

Fast forward again, he thinks we should get our first dance choreographed. (this was my intent all along, just needed to convince him).

Then we get invited to a public 'dance' which he refuses to attend because . . . you guessed it, he can't dance, doesn't know how to dance, and it's pointless. Three days later we get invited to a different public 'dance' which he WANTS to attend. So, off we go! And, oh, my, there he is in the car on the way home saying how much fun he had!

Fast forward again . . . he wants to continue to take dance lessons before and AFTER THE WEDDING!! He's even asked me to FM brides that I know have taken lessons and get info!!!!!!!

As if all this isn't weird enough. Yesterday, this stranger decides that his nails don't look good! Asks me to file them down and give him a manicure, and keep it up from now until the wedding so his hands look good when the photographer takes the ring picture.

WHO IS THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to crack and smile and laugh on this one, Darlene!!!!!!

Glad to hear that he's become enthusiastic about something - I wish I could get some reaction out of my FH sometimes!!!

and I totally forgot to add that we had the manicure conversation months ago. A bride here posted the question . . . how many FH's will be getting a manicure for the big day? - so I asked him about it, and he gave me and a big fat 'NO WAY'.

He must be related to my DH - you know the same guy who wanted an intermezzo at our wedding (we didn't have one).
