I am torn between my dad and both my parents (who are still together btw).
I like the idea of the traditional choice of just my dad.
But, I can see my mom getting upset if I don't ask them both.
I honestly don't have a strong opinion. What are you girls doing and why?

I think I am going with tradition on this having my dad walk me down. Although they are separated (have been for a very long time) and I spent most of my time with my mother, I don't think she will upset about it. My mom is a 'stick with tradition' type of person.

I'm having both of my parents walk me down the aisle. My reason for this is because I feel that both of my parents raised me equally. (They're still together, BTW). I am very close with both of them and would feel unbalanced if one of them was there and not the other. My mom was very surprised - in a good way - when I asked her. She thought I'd be traditional and have only my dad walk me down the aisle.

I am having both, but when we get to the font pew my mom will give me a kiss and take her seat. My father will walk me the rest of the way up to the alter and actually 'give me away'....
different but I wanted the the best of both. Both parents but traditional with Dad too

i am torn too. my mom was surprised at the idea...but we are leaving it up to my dad.
i have no idea if he has a preference.
on a related side note, i mentioned this to FH, and he thought this idea was weird since he never saw 2 ppl walk the bride up before....

My dad, our aisle isn't wide enough for both my parents to walk me down the aisle. So my brother will escort my mother down the aisle.

While I would love to have my mom there with me, I am having just my dad. My mom would never agree to be with us and take that honor away from my dad. Also, I don't want to be squished down the aisle with the three of us.

I was thinking the same thing my dad will be walking me down i know but I think I want my mother walking me down as well! Then I have to find to someone to walk my mother down if she does not walk with me and my dad- maybe my Bil?

I am thinking of having my great uncle walk me half way down, and having my uncle walk me the rest of the way.
