WE ARE GOING TO DO THE GARTER THROW BUT I DON'T REALLY WANT TO WEAR IT ALL DAY. IT IS KIND OF UNCOMFORTABLE AND SCRATCHY ON MY SKIN. CAN I JUST PUT IT ON AT THE RECEPTION OR DO YOU THINK I SHOULD WEAR IT ALL DAY?

ooooh, ithought you were asking if i was wearing it right now i'm not right now but i plan to at the wedding! i haven't even thought to try it on yet to see if it's comfy or not though - good idea

I didn't do the garter throw...but I wore one all day anyway...it didn't bother me.

I think it doesn't matter what leg you wear it on, but if you have 2 (1 to keep, 1 to throw) do you wear both on 1 leg or 1 on each leg???
Oh, and I plan on wearing it all day

if i'm not mistaken u wear both on the same leg, put ur white on first and then the blue, since the blue comes off....and don't quote me on this, but I believe it goes on ur right leg????

Good question SP04, I was thinking the same thing. I once caught the bouquet at a wedding and I only had the garter on for a couple of hours and it irritated me so much!

Yeah keep the Yankee one.
I bought a throw away (also my something blue) and one to keep (white one).
And then as a gift I got one (another blue) when I picked up my headpiece and veil.
So I have 3, I'm going to keep it and when my sisters get married I'll give to to them - it could be their something borrowed/blue. But I'm only going to wear 2

My sister decided that since she wasnt wearing stocking that the garter was very annoying rubbing up against her legs. A few min before the gater toss she pretended like she was talking to a friend who was sitting down and she helped her put it on. No one knew she didnt have it on all night.
