I'm getting price quotes from a bunch but don't know one from another.

Please share your good/bad DOC experiences, what your DOC will do, and if you don't mind, how much you are paying.

Prices range from $200 - $1500 from the people we contacted. We are paying $450 for our DOC - Christine (website info in my profile) I called her and asked her to be our DOC

FH loves her and was really happy when I told him I booked her for our wedding We went to her wedding last year This was after getting quotes of up to $1500 so I think the price alone would have sold him

Any DOC will do whatever you need (go to fittings, do a walk through at the hall, deal with difficult vendors or difficult people in general, make sure your must take pictures get done, make sure the hall is set up like you want, help you make things like programs, petal cones, cry packs, attend the rehearsal dinner........all sorts of stuff

They typically start a few weeks before the wedding with contacting vendors and such - but they are available for you to meet with and call well in advance of that.

I have Rosalie from Expressions, she's a vendor on here and she's been awesome so far. Always keeps in contact with me and emails me back right away if I have a question. She says she stays with you from first thing in the morning to the very end of the reception. You should FM her for her detailed info. And the best part is that she only charged $600! I'm positive that its the best money I've spent so far!!!

I second Rosalie... She is great!

I'm using Francesca from Dazzling Affairs. She has been great about answering all my emails, following up with me about things we've discussed, and generally being a big help. Knowing she is an email away is keeping me very very calm.

On the day of, she will be the first to arrive and the last to leave. She will keep all my wacky ceremony stuff in check and if anything is off she will take care of it, and I won't even know that something was off!!

My experience since I booked her has been fabulous thus far!!

My DOC is Laura from LA Productions. We love her! She's already helped us order our invitations at a discount. We've met with her twice, signed her on the second meeting. We're so glad to be working with her!!!

I used Laura for my wedding and both she and her assistant Jill were excellent. They went above and beyond what I expected of them.
