Who is you’re “Dream” team:

Meaning who are the vendors you booked (so far) in order to make your day perfect and ensure you’re dream come true.
Feel free to simply list all your vendors and/or if you wish to elaborate all the “R’s” that come with it :: reason/ review/ rant/ recommend and rave. :bride”

Hope everyone has a great day today!

For those of you who haven't booked much yet, I hope this helps you out with a broad list of possible suggestions

* * * Already posted this on the 2011 thread QOTD...but I wanted to expand to BHB and spread the love if it will help anyone with any further vendor ideas or possible “R’s”

Re: Who is you’re “Dream” team:

I'll bite!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my vendors, but I have champagne taste on a beer budget!

Church: St. Patrick's Cathedral or St. Bart's on Park Avenue. I'd just about give my left arm to get married at either church.

Reception Hall: Tribeca Rooftop or The Foundry. ::DROOL::

Photographer: Probably Matthew Sowa. I saw his work before I even got engaged and I'd just drool!

DJ: I'm very happy with my DJ, I'd stick with Body Rock.

Flowers: I'm very happy with Designs by Rose, but I would use her for a bazillion more things- like church decor, crystal trees for the guestbook table, arrangements for the bars, etc.

Limos: Stick with Camelot, nothing beats my partybus!!! But I would've probably gotten either a Rolls to take me to the church OR an old fashioned checkered taxi for some awesome pics.

Photobooth: I would've loved to book NYC Photobooths and gotten the vintage looking booth, but Partybooths is the next best thing and you can't beat the price!!

And as for a DOC, I'd get one period- probably Fran from Dazzling Affairs.

I'd also get someone to set up my candy buffet for me! I forget the website since it's saved on my comp at work, but holy hell her work is amazing!!!

ETA: OH! And video I'd book New York Film Works! Love their stuff!

ETA: I thought this was supposed to be who we WOULD book if we had endless amounts of money. LOL!

My actual list of vendors is:

Church: Our Lady of Mercy

RH: Jericho Terrace

DJ: Body Rock

Photo: Duet- Jay's Team

Limo: Camelot

DOC: None

Flowers: Designs by Rose

Photobooth: Partybooths

Dress: Blue by Enzoani, Paradise Bridal.

But she went to soooooooooooooooo many wedding that Used FM entertainment and thought they were just as good! FM entertainments prices are amazing. Frank rocks!! Soooo excited for them!!
Phot/ Video- While I though I would go with Duet because so many of my cousins have used them. I decided to look around. I found above and beyond and fell in love with deana one of the owners. I just feel Like i would be soooo comfortable with her during the intimate pictures as well. There videa blew my mind!!

Re: Who is you’re “Dream” team:

RH- v.e.r.d.i's of westbury- after going to 17 halls and speaking with over 30 others ( ) it was the only hall FH and I both agreed on based on price, size of room, look of room, food, VH

Church- st. patricks of bay shore- my aunt was married there and I've always been in love with it.

Photo/Video- patken photography- after going to a few 'no-name' photographers and being quoted over $1200 for pictures that my 5 year old nephew could do a better job, FH and I decided one more place, I had wanted to go to patken and duet but knew both were a little over our budget, FHs co-worker had booked patken and suggested it to him, so thats where we went, we booked on the spot because we'd save $200.... i LOVE their work.

DJ- high voltage sounds- LOVE vinny, his price was PERFECT and we just clicked

Florist- Joy... friend of the family who works with butronss.. we showed her what we wanted, she gave us a price, its less then we wanted to spend

Dress- Alexis Georgio.... tried on the dress over a year ago, loved the way it felt on me 100% silk, but it was far to expensive. went back to the dress store a year later, asked about it and it ends up they stopped carrying that designer so I could buy the sample, which fits like a glove for a BIG discount.. I do wish I would have gotten a gown that wasn't so simple on top... but for the deal I got.. its amazing.

dress store- bridal reflections... LOVE them, they are so nice and HONEST.

BM dresses- (not yet ordered) most likely a DB dress, not 100% sure yet.

Hair- my MOHs younger sister- she did my hair for my e-party and does AMAZING work... and her friend is most likely doing my makeup.. if not, it'll either be myself or her shop owner.

Jeweler- Elsa... didn't feel like we had much of a choise, my wedding band HAD to be custom made to fit my ering... but honestly, I wish we had looked around, we really dont like elsa!

eta- didn't realize that a certain company was *'d
ETA- totally forgot to list my jeweler!

Re: Who is you’re “Dream” team:

My Dream Team:

Church: St.Mel's in Whitestone - This is my parish and it is beautiful. I've made all my sacraments here and cannot wait to complete the last sacrament there too!

Reception Hall: Chateau La Mer - There is nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Everytime FH & I go to bring the next payment, words cannot even express the feeling I get when I walk in. I cannot wait to have the wedding there because I know it will be nothing but the best!

Flowers: Queens Garden Florist - It's a local florist and when I saw the sample centerpiece they made, I was blown away and booked on the spot.

Photography: Franco Prete -[photosbyfranco.com] - I knew right from the start he was going to be our photographer, No if, ands, or buts! He is an amazing photographer and his photos leave you speechless. I have nothing but good faith that our pictures will be amazing!

Videography: - Included in our photography package from Franco Prete.

Dress: - It's a Jasmine and I'm getting it from Lillettes. I am so in love with this dress. I went to lillettes with my mom one night, Gerri helped me, and she kept bringing dress after dress for me to try on, This dress that is my dress I actually said I didnt like and didnt want to try on, but Gerri convinced me to do so and as soon as I put it on I felt like a princess and couldnt stop the butterflies in my stomach when I put it on. I knew right then that the dress I didnt even want to try on in the beginning was the one for me!

Hair: My friend whos is my Hair Stylist and has been doing my hair since we are 15!!

Make-Up: Hopefully Osanka but she isn't booking for 2012 yet!

DJ: is the next on our list to book. We have seen a few already but still have 2 more on our list. but as of right now we have a pretty good idea who we are going with.

Limos: We plan on booking in 2011. We still are deciding if we want a party bus or if we want 2 limos.

And that's pretty much it for now until we work out our budget more and can get more stuff like hoepfully a photobooth!

Re: Who is you’re “Dream” team:

Ceremony and Reception: Westbury Manor <3 <3
I feel in love the moment I walked in. I loved the beautiful, elegant interior and the gorgeous gardens outside. The excellent food in the restaurant sealed the deal for me.

Photography: Lina Jang. Her work is really special and it was good enough to please my very picky FH who is a talented photographer himself.

Videographer: Pennylane. Their work speaks for itself. Amazing.

Ceremony Music: Cappriocio Ensemble. Having a top notch string quarter was really important as we are huge classical music lovers and my mother is singing during the ceremony. They are all excellent musicians.

Limos: Alexis- just a pickup and drop off. Nothing too interesting here.

Dress: Pronovias - from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. I love my dress and the great costumer service and huge selection at the wedding salon.

Invitations: From T.e.s.s.a and I couldn't love them more !

Hair and Makeup: Still figuring this one out.
