Who isn't having a guest book?

Just curious...because I don't think I am getting one

I really don't see the point - I always forget to sign them anyway!

I was supposed to have a sign in board. I forgot it but it didn't really matter. I don't think you need one.

I'm not either. I thought about it, considered it, but decided not to have one.

I'm not. I personally don't like them... I might do something that I would use- like the sign in platter or the sign in table cloth someone mentioned before.... we'll see!

Instead of a traditional guest book, my FH is going to create little postcards from a picture of the two of us and we're going to leave the backs of them blank. We're going to leave a pile of them on a table with a bunch of pretty pens and ask people to sign a few thoughts on them for us. Then we're going to store them in photo album that his aunt bought for us as an engagemtn gift.

We're going to leave the cards and pens on the table with the bird cage for cards and decorate the table with pictures of our parent's and greandparent's weddings.

I'm skipping the guest book. I don't see the point of it. What do you do with it after the wedding?

What is a wish bowl? I hope this is not a stupid question?

I wasn't going to, but I picked up a cheap but nice one at party giant for $12. I figure if I use it great, if not oh well, it didn't cost too much.

We were planning on putting some type of paper on the dining tables so people could write things to us, instead of just signing their names. Then compile it into at wedding day guest's 'journal'...

Nope, I think it's a waste of $$$$ because I know a lot of people will forget to sign it.

We're not using one. FI thinks of funerals when he sees those things. we are thinking about using the fish bowl idea.

I personally hate the look of guest books. I might have a wish bowl instead.
