who lives with FH ?

Just wondering if anyone is waiting till after the wedding to move in with FH?
We moved in after dating 3 months & I think that was one of the best decisions. You really get to know someone. Just wondering what everyone else is doing.

I have read alot of studies lately though contradicting everyones thoughts on how living together before is a good trial. Some of it makes sense,
Its a little scary.

One thing the study contradicts is that couples who have been living together for 3 years or more have a better success rate.

We have been living together for 4 years now, I have known him for a long time but living with him is completely different!! I'm gald we did this before we got engaged/married cause like someone else said it either makes or breaks you!! JMO

And, we bought a house and live together for about 14 months now

I'm soooo happy I did - I <3 it

Ohh what do the studies say? Im always curious to hear these things!

hopefully if we find a house and get it ready, we will move in before the wedding. otherwise, wedding night will be our first night together.

I'm not but we have a house in the works..so maybe..but my parents are so traditional that they don't like the idea

but on the up side..it was a great idea..i live with my parents rent-free!!!! so i was able to save a ton of money and fh did too! so now we have a downpayment to put on a house..whereis if we lived together i don't know if we could afford it

it was smart that you guys realized that you werent paying rent and that you should start saving.....luckily FH and I are able to save money while we are in the apartment BUT i know a lot of people who are still living at home and they arent saving anything! i think its really foolish of them - if you are at home and you have a job you should really be taking advantage of the fact that you dont have rent and bills. if FH and i were living at home we definitley would be able to save AT LEAST an extra 15K a year....so living at home does have its advantages!

yes it does! and your right i know people who lived at home and never saved a penny..im glad i'm not one of the ones who did that..cause now instead of a few louis vutton bags lol ..i have a house to show for it!

We moved in together after dating 2 1/2 years.. we will have been living together a year when we get married.. It was a great decision because it really let us know that we are making a good decision and that we get along even when living together!

FH pretty much as lived with me for 5 years now, but technically we bought a townhouse in June and will legitimately be living together for a year before we are married. I think it's a wonderful decision. They say the first year of marraige is the hardest, and if you can sort through some stuff before i think that's wonderful!

We moved in together after a year of dating and we've been living together for a year now and I couldn't be happier...i am a strong believer in living together before marriage...things are different when you live together i think depending on the couple it could be an adjustment.
