I love being a speech-language pathologist, thought by no means is it a perfect job (you caught me during IEP season-UGH)!

I enjoy my job as a college administrator, but I have to complete my doctorate before I will be making a great deal of $$$$. I was making more money working on Wall Street, but now I feel like I make a difference to students.

ditto for me, except that I never worked on wall street, so I've always been poor! I worked in publishing before higher ed and it was fun, but pay was horrible (even worse than higher ed).

I love my job! I am the accounts specialist...director of accounting..something like that. I do daily reconciliations, invoicing, pay the bills and then watch Days or Our Lives. All while listening to my ipod...except Days, of course!

I am a therapist on the child and adolescent units of a psych hospital. I love my job.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist.
I LOVE my work!
It's wonderful to be in a profession where you make people feel better.
I practice all types of massage, but specialize in PreNatal massage. It's really amazing to work with expectant mothers, to massage a woman with another life inside of her, and when the babies are born & they ask me to teach them infant massage- what a joy!!!

I love my job but not the pay.

I teach 2nd grade in a catholic school.

I absolutely love my job...but trust me i had to go through a lot of crappy ones to realize how great this one is. I work in college administration.....the people i work with are so key. They are so down to earth and the pay and benefits are perfect. I never want to leave.

I love what I do....I do Business Continuity and Crisis Management for a large investment bank. It's something different every day and it is never boring.

I am a literacy coach at a middle school. I like it most of the time. It's challenging and interesting and I get to have the fun of working with kids without having to deal with some of the day-to-day things that used to stress me out (dealing with parents, keeping track of all the papers to grade, etc.)

OK I'm a full time student, which I DON'T like one bit---

but I manage to get about 25 hrs a week in at my part time job... I work in a Mom & Pop Physical Therapy facility. It's incredible to see people roll in the door in their wheelchairs, then a month or so later, they're walking out with no assistance! So cool!

Sunny, that's what I want to get into!! What degree do you have?

I currently dislike my job but am in the middle of getting my masters in mental health counseling so that I can eventually answer threads like this

Ditto for me, except that I already have a doctorate and I'm not making that much $$...

I'm an attorney at a general litigation firm, but they've let me take on all of the employment law cases that come through the firm, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Every day is something new, and the rush of standing in the courtroom and arguing my case is indescribable. Most of all, I love that everything I'm doing is to help someone who can't help themselves (we do all plaintiff's work and represent all the police officers in Philadelphia).

I'm a social worker in a hospital based medical clinic. I deal with adults. My duties vary upon their needs so it can be anything from educating about benefits to crisis intervention/counselling. I have a love/hate relationship with my job. It can be rewarding but equally frustrating.

I am a flight attendant (have been for 11 years) and love the fact that no 2 days are EVER the same! The flexibilty is also amazing-I go to school fulltime (going to be a speech pathologist) while flying on the weekends.

The ONLY reason I'm going to change careers is that this is definitely not the job for people that want a settled life (something I'm ready for) with a family. Plus, my FI also works for my airline and I'm just not comfortable with both of us in the airline industry because it's so unpredictable.....
