I love both of my jobs!

My FT job is as Director of Development and Internal Operations for a non-profit that works with homeless families. It's so rewarding to see families come to us from the shelter system with nothing and completely reliant on public assistance to completing our program with a college degree, earning a decent salary and not on welfare anymore.

PT, I teach dance. I teach tap, ballet and jazz to kids ages 4 - 16. I LOVE sharing my knowledge, talent and passion for this beautiful art form.

Hey, the girls that are admin in colleges, what colleges are you at? I was an administrator at Hofstra for 3 years. Loved it there too except the pay was crap for the amount of work I did, then I did a short stint at SUNY Old Westbury. Just curious.

College Administrator here too.. At Hofstra for 4 years.
I love my job! At times its stressful when we have events, but the day to day is great!

I love my job as a promotions and event planner for 4 magazines which are part of the publishing division one of the best companies in the world!
I love the event part the most. I love the work that leads up to it, and seeing it all unfold onsite. I love seeing the children's faces when they come to our events too- and I see all my hard work and planning pay off!

My job is tolerable and has great benefits. It's not necessarily what I want to do the rest of my life, but, I love the people, environment, and the casualness of my company.

ETA - I work in publishing...I will soon become a teacher once I am done with my student teaching.

Love my job...I'm a marine biologist. Pay is horrible, but I love what I do, and who I work for.

I don't like my job right now. I'm doing social work and i want to get back into Human Resources in a private company. I'm trying but i think the corporate world feels that once you go non profit there is no turning back!

I'm a psychiatric social worker (LCSW), I don't love this job since it is dangerous and I'm on the crisis team so I get called alot to help 'take-down' patients (I can't anymore since I'm preggo).

I love my private practice. I work in the evenings in my own office in Huntington Village and I specialize in bereavement, pregnancy and traumatic issues.

I'm going back to school to become a nurse after the baby is born, my goal is to be a labor and delivery nurse practitioner or a certified midwife, within 5 years I'll be there!!

I second this about my job in publishing. Not my life job, but bearable.

I do sales/service for an insurance co. I like my job and I like the people I work with. I dont like who I work for.

Good for you! I never hear lawyers say that they love their job. What firm do you work for and are they hiring? I loved my job when I was a prosecutor, but it wasn't enough money for our house so I took a job in private practice and it's not the same at all

I currently dislike my job but am in the middle of getting my masters in mental health counseling so that I can eventually answer threads like this

I am a PR Manager for a music company. Also handle all the sponsorships and their charitable foundation. Lot of work and like the job 80% of the time. Sometimes things are moving too fast and there are 40000000 top priorities! :)
