Curious actually who makes more money....

You or your FH?!?!?!

What are your beliefs on a woman making more than a man and how would you handle it if you were in a situation like this??????

FH makes more but has more bills since he built a home shortly before we started dating. I make less but am a 'saver' by nature. I don't think it would bother him if I made more, after we're married its a group effort

i'm just alil down when i shouldn't be......i just feel like no matter what i will always make more money....because i am money driven.....i guess i just still have an old school mentality that men should make more and provide.......

i just like things to be equal....i guess im just being hard on myself

add on: He makes a little more than me but i am a BIG SAVER....i am FRUGAL with my money so i have alot more saved......

He does... I just changed careers so I'm starting at the bottom and trying to work my way up. He definitely wouldn't mind if I made more than him. He'd probably welcome it!

I make more but FH has the more stable job. FH doesn't care that I make more and I don't think about it either. Educationalyl we both have our Masters and both are achieving the goals we want to achieve in the career paths we've chosen. Mine will always lead to more $$ and his will always be more stable.

Ultimately I feel like it's all the same pot of money, especially once we get married.

He makes more than I do, and he will always do. He is an attorney, and I am an Assistant Director. It wouldn't bother him if I made more money, but like you....I find myself to be a little more traditional. He wants me to stay home when we have our children, and I wouldn't mind

I am irritated as to why men make more than us. It is not fair. I have seen a lot of specials on tv about women and men interviewing for the same job and men getting offered a higher starting salary! Crazy!

FH brings in about $1300 a week after taxes

and lately with the economy..
my last 2 weeks paycheck was $250

THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU AN ANSWER

when there is a war going on..HE MAKES BANK!

but when there is a recession I MAKE NOTHING!

i should just shut up about the fact that i have the will power to save money and leave him be.......

he is amazing in every way.....
and a very hard worker.....

but as they say

whats his is mine and whats mine is well mine....lol

I love him so much..........

ill be doing all the finances anyway when we get hitched so what do i have to worry about right......

I make more per hour but he has more hours a week than I do. So he makes more than me. If I made more he wouldn't care, he loves when I go out shopping for him and get him little gifts.
