Hi girls.........so my dress shopping continued today and I found something different than I've been trying on but that I really liked....it may be 'the one'.
The problem though? I found it at adrienne's in islip and they won't tell me the designer. I know this places has a lot of mixed reviews.......but I've been searching online all night and can't find it. Does anyone know who makes this? Has anyone else seen this dress? ANYTHING would help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a silk chiffon dress, completely plain but with the satin ribbon and brooch. There are three layers on the bottom. It has a medium length train.
Sorry the pics are bad....we weren't allowed to take pics and we took a few when she stepped out......I'm laughing in one because the girls were pretending to have a coughing fit to mask the sound of the shutter! My hair is gross too.......don't mind it

Im not really sure if you figured it out yet but I saw this post earlier this morning and I was looking for myself and I happened to come across this one. It is a Marisa, The dress I bought (which I am having doubts about) isnt photographed, so you may never be able to find the dress online. This is very similar, you can always have the tailor scoop the neck slightly and it will almost be exact. Hope this helped!!
i bought my dress from adriennes even after hearing not such great reviews...my friend just bought her dress, her 9 bridesmaids and both mother of the bride and mother of the groom dresses there also....she had nothing but wonderful things to say and all alterations where done beautifully...everyplace u go to is going to have some bad reviews...everyone has different experiences... I also found that odd that they wouldnt let u take a pic because they actually asked me if i wanted to take a picture so i could get a better idea...also when i asked them they told me the designer...who did u meet with? i also know several other people who have gotten there dresses there and loved them...so i would get it if u really love it...

The Alvina Valenta that I posted on page 1 looks like it has the same broach on the bow. The dresses are a bit different...but I wonder if this is the designer (even though I can't find it anywhere on her site)!?!
the brooch you found is a little nicer than the brooch on the dress.......
I've decided to keep looking at dresses to be positive... I might want more 'poof'....
I don't know, I'm the most indecisive bride ever. Did anyone else try on a million dresses?

I can't believe we can't find it... It's making me crazy...you must be going nuts...
I LOVE this dress on you the best...but ultimately you have to be completely happy and comfortable. It can't hurt to keep looking.
oh...and sorry...I didn't try on a million dresses...I actually picked mine out online and ordered it...LOL...it finally came in and LOVED IT!!!!!! (pheeeeew) Freaked me out for a little while. Anyway...my MOH did try on a million dresses and liked everyone...that was a difficult decision...but...she did finally make a decision and its perfect! You will find the right dress (if you haven't found it already) don't stress!
