Who met there FH online.....

I think its so amazing how people are meeting this way, I am trying to encourage my MOH to do this but if I were single I would totally do it! But if I show her how many successful relationships can really happen this way, share you story, I would love to see her happy, and hopefully be her MOH one day!

ETA: story: I had met FH briefly like a year and a half before I saw him on Match (didn't recognize him at all) and when we started talking we figured out that we had met before!! I would have never met him again if it weren't for Match-- he's the best! I met him after only being ON Match for TWO DAYS!!!! NYBride also met her DH on Match!!

we did!! We were both on Yahoo personals and Match.com...

I just read the rest, and you wanted a story....

So I had seen his pictures on Yahoo, and he had pics of him in his army uniform with sunglasses on, with gun in hand on a helicopter...yep, the uniform does it for me!! Anyway, I contacted him, and he didn't write back, so after a week, I wrote one more time, and after that I was going to give up.

Well he says that he was trying to gather enough courage to write me back when I wound up writing the second time. And it took off from there!!!

Tell your friend to do it...what does she got to lose?

I have a friend who is on Match.com and emailed me this guy's profile-- how CUTE does he look? She said that they have been emailing each other back and fourth and that he is the nicest guy-- but OF COURSE, her ex-BF came back into the pic and now she said she wants to give it a second try with her EX. So she emailed me saying the online guy, who I feel attached to now!! and her are not going to give it a whirl b/c of the EX!!

So once I saw this it made me think I should post it on here-- I've seen copies of the emails, he's NORMAL and really nice!!!! I would date him myself if I was not engaged-- You should tell your MOH about him!!!!

My FH and I met through eHarmony. I had been browsing that site on and off for about 10 months when I got an e-mail from them saying they were running a special: 3 months for the price of 1 month. I can't resist a sale, so I signed up again, and within a couple of days was matched with him. He had only joined a few days before that. I guess you can say I got him 'on sale.'

When people hear that this is how we met, they ask us for more details about signing up their friends, relatives, etc. since we both are nice, normal, professional people, so therefore it is not just for people looking for casual hookups.

Since we live 30 miles apart, we would have never crossed paths without eHarmony. We have since heard of at least 4 other couples who met online and have since married, or are engaged.

These stories are so sweet, I met my FH on a ferry to Fire Island (I sat down next to him) I had no idea what he looked like, but my MOH said'the guy next to you is really cute) BUT SOOO OBNOXIOUS!!!(sp) I met him at a party later, I was eating the biggest cheese burger you ever saw, and that when I realized how hot he was and I NEVER eat in front of guys (now I dont care) but 3yrs later
