I invited, my immedate female family (sisters, mother, grandmothers, aunts and my 1st cousins which I only have 1)
I also invited my closest friends (including my BP) and my MIL and SIL

my mom and fmil gave me my shower- so it was just my bp and relatives and lots of the mothers' friends...

My mom says that usually it is just about every woman invited to the wedding, with the exception of guests that you do not know..

I invited all my aunts, cousins, close family friends - I also invited all of these people on FH's side (FFIL insisted - but I haven't even met A LOT of them and they are like FH's third cousins ).

I invited friends, family, FH's family, fiances of FH's best friends. Then FMIL insisted on inviting several of her 'close' friends, one of whom did not even invite her to her kid's wedding (real close!) I've never met some of these people. I'm not happy about that one but I'm just trying to roll with it.

ditto - cutting the ones I don't know still left like 60 women though
