Who pays for BP hair/makeup?

Who pays for BP hair/makeup?

Is anyone besides me paying for the entire BP? I thought we had to, now I'm hearing the girls are supposed to pay for themselves. Which is true?

I thought the girls are supposed to pay for themselves. But to be honest If I could afford it I would of paid for them. Thats not gonna happen though.

When I was a bridesmaid... I paid for my hair and did my makeup myself

I didn't mind.

ditto. I may pay for by MOH's hair or makeup as part of her present. If you REQUIRE your BMs to get hair or makeup done, I think it is nice to pay for it. I am not requiring that though, so if they choose to get it done, they will pay.

I have been in eleven weddings and the only gift I ever got was the jewelry. I am paying for my girls make up but my girls had to deal with a ton of drama with my future mil kind of an I am soo sorry gift.

i required they get there hair done (they could pick the stlye) and i paid for hair

makeup was there choice - so they paid if they wanted it

I will hopefully be paying for makeup...hair I am not requiring to be done. If they want it, they have to pay for it.

Mine paid for themselves BUT I gave them the choice of what they wanted to do.
I think if you are making them get their make up done or a certain hairdo, you should at least split the cost with them.

I agree if I had the $ I would definitly pay. But I've been in 4 weddings where I paid my own each time. So, you really don't have to, I don't think most bridemiads expect it.

You're not required to pay for the girls'. In weddings I've been to in the past, I've had to pay for the bm dress, hair, and makeup.

But for my wedding, I'm paying for the bm dresses, paying for hair/makeup, and will get them matching jewelry (nothing too expensive), instead of presenting them each with a separate gift.

I'm giving my girls the choice. If they want to do it themselves then that's fine. If they want to have it professionally done then they're gonna have to pay for it.

I am not paying for it. SOme girls are getting their makeup done, some are doing their own

My girlfriend paid for my makeup since I was just going to do it myself.... I paid for my hair. I thought that was a fair deal. I would like to offer to pay for something... if it is possible.... I hope to.

That's up to you. Many people pay for their girls. I'm not paying for makeup and hair (its a lot of extra $$$) but I am getting them all petis and manicures.
