We offered to pay for our 2 FGs dresses but that's because their mom is flying herself and them from WI to NY and paying for all their hotel arrangements etc.

The parents are paying, but since my FG is 7 and will soon be making her Communion, I am letting her wear the same dress. I would have put the kid in white anyway. This way, they picked something a little wedding-y and everyone wins.

I have 2 FGs.... I am paying for 1 because the whole family (9 people) are flying in from San Francisco... but the parents are paying for the other.
