Who Pays for Flower Girls Dresses??

Original post by Tetelove

FH and i were discussing who pays for the flower girls/ring bearers outfits? I was under the assumption that the parents of the children paid for their outfits, or am I wrong? Tell me what you ladies think or doing.

Thanks in advance,

Tiffany

I think its usually the parents of the children. in our wedding the boys tuxs are nothing to rent instead of free for fathers. I have 4 flower girls, and I bought my nieces dresses since $ is tight ( whole family in wedding!)

I am paying for the FG and RB but only because BOTH of their parents are in the bridal party(the fg and rb are brother and sister)...i'd thought i'd try to contribute!! Otherwise I think the parents pay!

Myself and DH paid for FGs dresses. I didn't see it as a big deal to have it paid out of our pockets, FGs as well as RB are children so it only makes sense that the bride & groom pays since they're asked to be in the wedding.

I would assume the parents would but we knew that SIL couldn't afford the dresses so we just paid for their outfits out of the wedding budget.
