I read in some wedding magazine that it was the guy's responsibility to pay for the rings, so FH paid for them. Seemed fair since I paid for the whole wedding and he only had to pay for the rings.

FH paid for the diamond in my E-ring and we picked out the setting together... the setting had a matching band so since I chose the more expensive setting I ended up paying for the setting on my e-ring and the band.
I didn't mind though bc I make more money than FH and the original solitare ring he gave me he paid for all himself :)
