i orginally wanted a three stone ring because I have fat fingers. When FH went to the jewelry store they told him that three stone is not really traditional for an engagement ring. He eventually picked/designed a ring on blue nile. I have a round center diamond, with 6 channel set diamonds on each side of the center diamond. I think it suits me well.
well i told him i wanted to use my mothers old engagment band and that i wanted a princess cut....he swiped my band from me and picked out teh diamond....so yes and no when it comes to me picking out my ring
i did not pick my ring. we never even looked at e-rings. however about a year before we got engaged i was looking on the tiffany website & i found a ring that i loved. so i printed it out and left it on my desk. maybe he saw it because it is the ring i currently have. his mom (who went to pick out the ring with him) has told me that we did a lot of research prior to going to purchase it & when he went to the store he told them what he wanted. so he picked out the entire ring on his own, which makes it all that more special to me.
we picked it out together. i was like a kid in a candy store. i wanna do it all over again.

i didnt get to pick my ring...
Funny story though...FH had bought the ring already (i think) and he showed me pictures of three different rings (one of which was mine) and asked me which one i liked best...And i told him which one I loved and he was like well what about the other ones? I told him that this one ring he was showing me was ugly and I didnt like it and i couldnt see any girl ever having that as an engagement ring...and umm yea...its the ring i am wearing right now...oops![]()

Fh picked out my setting and then took me to see it and i always wanted a princess cut in the middle well once we tried it i didnt like it i wanted a round one then i tried that and then an oval and loved the oval... so i told him wat i wanted and 2 mnths later he suprised me with the ring and i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT

We pick it together.
I tried rings on but FH designed mine so I had no idea how it would look
i had no idea. he never asked me aynthing about rings. but he did an amazing job. he actually bought it in august and we didnt get engaged till novemeber. i dont know how he waited that long!
I gave him 3 pictures of the rings I liked and one of them was it!!!!
